However FFmpeg does the same at the command line so I assume it to be an issue with libfaac. On Windows but not Ubuntu, AAC exports are always truncated by about 3000 samples at the end, irrespective of length of file (so it's a problem with a file a few seconds long). M4a in ffmpeg using the basic ffmpeg -i input.wav output.m4a, and I used the newest release of ffmpeg for that.I do not see any of the above problems on Windows.
